I've noticed that I start a lot of my entries with some random stuff like that. Haha, oh gosh (yes, I do say that a whole lot), I feel awkward.
So...as the title implies, this one is about the drama camp I am attending and Harry Potter.
What do the two have in common?
Well, they have the drama campers in common. :)
Yes, our campers seem to have this fixation on Harry Potter. In fact, for the talent show on the coming Wednesday, we're going to attempt to perform the Harry Potter Puppet Pals and the Mysterious Ticking Noise in front of an audience.
If you don't know what that is, watch this:
If you haven't seen that before, you can't possibly be a true Harry Potter fan!! (Okay, jokes.)
Anyway, we found, in our "treasure trunk" (Please, no sexual innuendo implied.), a giant bag of Gryffindor ties. It was superhero theme day so, naturally, we wore it throughout the entire day. Pretty awesome, isn't it? :)
Ah, also, we played random Harry Potter characters throughout the entire day, even though some of them weren't Gryffindors. There was Bellatrix, Hermione, Neville, Harry, and Draco.
Guess who I was.
Yes, that's right.
Bloody right.
I was Draco Malfoy.
Awesome, right? I totally love him. Tom Felton portrays him brilliantly, too! The actor and the character are awesome. No, I'm not a guy and, no, sadly, I don't have blond hair. I'm Chinese and proud, though. :)
I know, Malfoy is an ass. But, hey, we love him for it, right?
Another point of awesomeness, I got to be a total git for a day and was still scott-free! Oh, and I tried my hardest to be a jerk to Harry (played by Mary - even their names rhyme! Actually, she looked more like Cho but she didn't like Cho nor did she want to play her.), but it was hard. She's total dear. Hermione was awesome. Honestly, Alice even looked like Hermione! It was awesome.
The sad part was that I looked more like Pansy (despite having grown out my hair during the past year). I can't say I'm too fond of Pansy. So, that was a down point.
Nonetheless, it was fun.
Oh, and another highlight was that I acted totally gay around Harry (Mary). It was awesomely fun. I loved that part, perhaps, the most.
I also scared little children. (I apologize for that.) I feel a little bit guilty that I found it so endearingly fun. I had my arm around Harry (Mary) and said to them, somehow, with a straight face (Don't ask how I managed that, but I did), "Draco Malfoy loves Harry Potter" and then walked right into the next activity room where I could be found breaking into a fit of laughter. The kids gave me this "You're crazy, you stranger. Stranger danger." look. Oh, it was fun. Believe me. Harry (Mary) laughed, too!
We also spoke with British accents for nearly the whole day. (I did for the whole day, at least.) And, now, I can't get it off my tongue. Well, not that I don't like it. It's refined and charming, to me. However, I just can't really see myself speaking with one (no matter how much I wish I did). So, I've been trying desperately to get it off. So far, it's working.
Now, for the Harry Potter part (not that that wasn't Harry Potter-esque).
As you could easily ascertain, my favourite character is Draco Malfoy. Harry's interesting, too.
Oh, and I like DracoxHarry, as quite obviously shown.
I like this video for them. It's sweet.
I adore the song in the video, too. It's My Skin by Natalie Merchant. That would explain why it's at the top of my playlist at the bottom of the page. :)
Too bad Harry got married to Ginny instead. I'm not too fond of Ginny, either. Well, I can tell you that it's not because she and Harry are together, for what it's worth. I'm not that horribly fangirl-ish. I have my own reasons.
Ah, speaking of which, I'm going to be attempting, perhaps, a Draco/Harry fanfic later on in the...year? Next year? I'm not sure.
It's going to be called The Years to Come. And, as far as summaries go, I may have one in the next post. Who knows.
Anyway, I guess there isn't much more to say.
I've had my fun.
Good night, dearest ones. Pray that you'll wake again.
