More Fandoms

Haha. I'm such a dork.

Okay, soooo...

I want to say that I've been having fun at sports camp. I was going to, actually, post this yesterday but found myself short on time. (More like full of laziness. But, I digress.)

A couple of things are in this (as per usual).

I found a part 2 to the "Why I Support KuroFai" video. And, from what I read, there will be a part 3 coming out sometime. :)

So, here it is:

I really enjoyed it. I think I preferred the first one but I wasn't disappointed with this one - too much, anyway.

KuroFai, once again, is totally supportable. I advise you to watch the video on YouTube rather than here, though. On YouTube, you can see all the little annotations she has and the footnotes on the side and nice. :)

Just right-click on the video and click "Watch on YouTube".

Okay, that aside.

Another fandom of mine is Sukisyo - also known as Sukisho and Suki na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shouganai!!. I suggest watching it rather than reading it. From what I've deduced, it's anime-based, not manga-based - just like Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed: Destiny. You can watch it here. And, the rest of the episodes can be searched here.

It's amazing. Sora/Sunao and Yoru/Ran all the way!

So cute. :)

If you're curious as to what it's all about and DON'T MIND SPOILERS, then watch this:

It's nice, isn't it?

Yeah, it definitely is.

Oh, and I found this AMV for them:

I really like it. I love the song, too - Breaking Benjamin is amazing. I love them!

I watched Sukisyo a long time ago - back when I was first getting into shounen-ai and yaoi. (Yes, there is a difference.) It was really cute and sweet - a tad tragic, too, but let's not spoil it. :)

I don't really have much to say because, as of now, I'm feeling...wordless? Ergh...no, speechless just sounds better.

Ah, speaking of words - the Bleach Romances Fanfiction Contest is currently being held by Full Shadow Alchemist-san. I'm a contestant and the first round has just begun. I'm really nervous because, quite honestly, this is my first time being in an actual fanfiction-writing contest for whatever pairing pops up. It's bound to be fun, yes, but I'm excited and nervous - the whole butterflies-in-my-stomach feeling. So, wish me luck. I'm totally going to be needing it.

C'est tout pour maintenant.

Je t'aime, mes petits papillons.

100 Views? What?

What? I have 100 views here? Here? Whaaaaaat? Not possible!!

Okay, I was just signing in to check on this and noticed that I had 100 hits. Oh my gosh, wow. That's weird. I wonder who the heck clicked here? Huh. Points to ponder.

Er...anyway...thanks are in order. So, thank you everyone who clicked! If you see this, thank you very much! :)

I'm surprised. This is so weird. I thought I'd get...10 views, max. Huh. Oh well. Take what you get, right?

Hm...

Oh, yes, I just remembered what I was going to say.

I really like Evanescence. They're an amazing band, huh? Amy Lee's voice is amazing. Their songs are inspirational. What else does an artist need? (I mean, they've got the fame to match so it's all good there, too. Plus, they haven't gone flaky from the fame. That's what I love.)

Their songs make me want to scream, sing, laugh, dance, and cry all at the same time. Irony. I love how they use that in their lyrics. They're truly...inspiring. I can't find another word for it. Their songs make me want to write, to draw - whatever.

Heh. This is where I owe everyone an explanation, isn't it? For whoever is interested (or reading, really), I suppose I owe this much - a little bit of myself. I mean, nobody really knows that much about me as a whole. I write, I draw - but that's about it, right? Sure, you know my interests, fandoms, and whatever - but, hey, not me?

Okay. So, let's start off with...actual things. I love to draw, sing, write (poetry and prose both), act, dance (I'm horrible at this. I have no hand-eye coordination whatsoever. Okay, so maybe a little bit - but not enough to dance properly, surely), playwright - more or less, all of the arts.

Yeah, I'm an artsy person. I guess. Haha!

But, I suppose that didn't reveal too much. And, that was a pretty self-evident fact.

Oh well. I'll have to live with that for now. I'm no one special so that, in and of itself, is pretty significant.

Everybody's Fool by Evanescence:

This song made me smile - in a creepy way. It just hits home. Huh. Another point to ponder, isn't it?

So, I suppose that that's that.

Until a later time - perhaps.

The Years to Come Summary and Other Related Topics

Okay. So, as promised, I will put the summary and whatnot for my upcoming (I don't know when. I'm still figuring that out. However, I believe sometime after I'm finished writing Incomprehensible Understanding sounds like a good idea. I don't want too many projects on my hands.) Draco/Harry (Yes, it's slash/yaoi/gay/etc.) fanfic.

Warning: Yaoi/Slash/Shounen-Ai/BL/General Gay-ness and lots and lots of confusion, subtext, and misunderstandings.
Disclaimer: No matter how much I wish I owned Harry Potter, I do not.
Pairings: Draco/Harry (Main pairing), Scorpius/Albus, and other canon pairings...
Setting: It takes place after the epilogue in Harry Potterverse. No, it’s not AU (Alternate Universe).
Full Summary: Nineteen years later... No, the story hasn’t ended yet. Voldemort is gone—dead and never to return again. And, Harry Potter is still alive and kicking. Ex-Death Eater, Draco Malfoy, is, too. Through the worst circumstances possible—their sons “dating”—they find themselves becoming acquainted with one another. A messy, confusing, friendship-esque relationship is formed between them. But, is everything really all that it seems to be? Can they really contain all that once was and could be while watching their sons—so strikingly similar to what they could have been back in Hogwarts?

So, there you have it. Yes, strange story, isn't it? No, I don't really have it planned out - part of the reason I want to wait it out, aside from the work overload reason.

Yeah, I do like Draco/Harry. Though, I believe that's rather self-evident. (No, I'm writing a fanfic. for them because, clearly, I detest the pairing, right?)

Another video I found that I liked is this one:

And this one:

Yeah, the thing with the videos that have the HD function and whatnot is that I can't shrink the dimensions any more than that. I'm sad to admit that I don't have full knowledge of HTML and CSS so, yes, I'm rather incompetent. Disappointing, isn't it? So, you'll just have to put up with the overlapping problem...

I don't really have much to say for this.

Oh! At the talent show that was today, we performed the Harry Potter Puppet Pals and the Mysterious Ticking Noise thing. Yes, we totally got a rise out of that and, yes, people did laugh. It was awesome. If you want to see the video, it's in the previous post.

So, I suppose that's that.

So...

Yeah, you all expected that fancy exit thing I always do. Well, here it is.

I'll take me leave now, muggles.

Until we meet again.

Drama Camp and Harry Potter

Oh my gosh.

I've noticed that I start a lot of my entries with some random stuff like that. Haha, oh gosh (yes, I do say that a whole lot), I feel awkward.

So...as the title implies, this one is about the drama camp I am attending and Harry Potter.

What do the two have in common?

Well, they have the drama campers in common. :)

Yes, our campers seem to have this fixation on Harry Potter. In fact, for the talent show on the coming Wednesday, we're going to attempt to perform the Harry Potter Puppet Pals and the Mysterious Ticking Noise in front of an audience.

If you don't know what that is, watch this:

If you haven't seen that before, you can't possibly be a true Harry Potter fan!! (Okay, jokes.)

Anyway, we found, in our "treasure trunk" (Please, no sexual innuendo implied.), a giant bag of Gryffindor ties. It was superhero theme day so, naturally, we wore it throughout the entire day. Pretty awesome, isn't it? :)

Ah, also, we played random Harry Potter characters throughout the entire day, even though some of them weren't Gryffindors. There was Bellatrix, Hermione, Neville, Harry, and Draco.

Guess who I was.

Yes, that's right.

Bloody right.

I was Draco Malfoy.

Awesome, right? I totally love him. Tom Felton portrays him brilliantly, too! The actor and the character are awesome. No, I'm not a guy and, no, sadly, I don't have blond hair. I'm Chinese and proud, though. :)

I know, Malfoy is an ass. But, hey, we love him for it, right?

Another point of awesomeness, I got to be a total git for a day and was still scott-free! Oh, and I tried my hardest to be a jerk to Harry (played by Mary - even their names rhyme! Actually, she looked more like Cho but she didn't like Cho nor did she want to play her.), but it was hard. She's total dear. Hermione was awesome. Honestly, Alice even looked like Hermione! It was awesome.

The sad part was that I looked more like Pansy (despite having grown out my hair during the past year). I can't say I'm too fond of Pansy. So, that was a down point.

Nonetheless, it was fun.

Oh, and another highlight was that I acted totally gay around Harry (Mary). It was awesomely fun. I loved that part, perhaps, the most.

I also scared little children. (I apologize for that.) I feel a little bit guilty that I found it so endearingly fun. I had my arm around Harry (Mary) and said to them, somehow, with a straight face (Don't ask how I managed that, but I did), "Draco Malfoy loves Harry Potter" and then walked right into the next activity room where I could be found breaking into a fit of laughter. The kids gave me this "You're crazy, you stranger. Stranger danger." look. Oh, it was fun. Believe me. Harry (Mary) laughed, too!

We also spoke with British accents for nearly the whole day. (I did for the whole day, at least.) And, now, I can't get it off my tongue. Well, not that I don't like it. It's refined and charming, to me. However, I just can't really see myself speaking with one (no matter how much I wish I did). So, I've been trying desperately to get it off. So far, it's working.

Now, for the Harry Potter part (not that that wasn't Harry Potter-esque).

As you could easily ascertain, my favourite character is Draco Malfoy. Harry's interesting, too.

Oh, and I like DracoxHarry, as quite obviously shown.

I like this video for them. It's sweet.

I adore the song in the video, too. It's My Skin by Natalie Merchant. That would explain why it's at the top of my playlist at the bottom of the page. :)

Too bad Harry got married to Ginny instead. I'm not too fond of Ginny, either. Well, I can tell you that it's not because she and Harry are together, for what it's worth. I'm not that horribly fangirl-ish. I have my own reasons.

Ah, speaking of which, I'm going to be attempting, perhaps, a Draco/Harry fanfic later on in the...year? Next year? I'm not sure.

It's going to be called The Years to Come. And, as far as summaries go, I may have one in the next post. Who knows.

Anyway, I guess there isn't much more to say.

I've had my fun.

Good night, dearest ones. Pray that you'll wake again.

CLAMP in Wonderland

Haha! CLAMP is, again, amazing!

I just wanted to share that "CLAMP in Wonderland" videos! I couldn't help myself, really! They're just so cute! I especially like the second one but here they are anyway!

CLAMP in Wonderland 1:

CLAMP in Wonderland 2:

Cute, right?

Oh, and if you're curious as to what anime/manga were in them, just watch them on Youtube! They're stated in the box to the right of the video!

The second video has all the anime/manga on the side with the exact time in the video it appears. (i.e. Tokyo Babylon - 02:23)

I also found this charming little RikuouxKazahaya AMV so, here it is, too...

So, that's that! I hope you guys like them! Yeah, I know. Short post. It isn't much like me but, whatever, right? I hope you guys enjoyed them and happy summer!

End transmission.

Until another time, dears.

KuroFai For the Win!!

Another post? Whaaaaat?

Yes, I have, quite literally, no life. That's okay. But, if having no life means that I get to share this lifelessness with you guys, then s'all good, right? :)

So, moving on!

I adore KuroFai, if that wasn't apparent. Sad to say, I haven't written anything - properly - for them, ever.

I cannot draw for them. I've tried - millions of times - but I've failed miserably every single time. It's disappointing. CLAMP's style is just that impossible for me.

I still adore KuroFai, though.

Seriously, it's nearly canon - if not already canon, that is!

As far as artists go, I find CLAMP amazing! They've done Card Captor Sakura, Chobits, Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, X/1999, Code Geass, Tokyo Babylon, xxxHOLiC, etc. Yeah, they're all, more or less, famous. XD

Oh! I adore this girl for putting all the famous (infamous) KuroFai scenes together in a video!

Warning: SPOILERS!!

-sighs- I can't help fangirling over those scenes. Thank you for putting the video together, Faerverily-san!

Oh, you should really watch it on Youtube rather than with the small screen. She had little annotations during the video that are totally worth reading. Besides, for some of those scenes, it just doesn't make sense why she put them there if you don't read the annotations. Plus, the subtitles are really tiny here. Especially the scene with the furisode, that one wouldn't make sense... Enough said.

Oh! And, she put this thing on the side - you know, where the gray box should be? It's got stuff that's totally worth reading if you're a KuroFai fan or otherwise. :)

Ah, the scene Fai was all weepy when Kurogane nearly died really got to me. Sweet, aren't they?

Yesssssss~ I adore those scenes.

And, other CLAMP-verse pairings that I like (Yaoi ones because, quite obviously, SyaoranxSakura is there and whatnot) KuroganexFai, SeishirouxSubaru, FuumaxKamui, DoumekixWatanuki, TouyaxYukito, YashaxAshura, RikuouxKazahaya, SaigaxKakkei, MukoufujiwaraxNayuki, etc.

I haven't really read/watched Code Geass so, as for now, these are the ones. Seriously, though, CLAMP generally disregards genders when they pair people up. I admire that. They create true compatibility between the characters. :)

Warning: MORE SPOILERS!!

For Seishirou and Subaru, Subaru admits to falling in love with Seishirou. That is here. And, as for Seishirou, he, more or less, tells Subaru that he loves him, too. Well, it's more like "I ____ you." And, since he told Subaru that he'd tell him something surprising and, before, he had told Subaru that killing him meant nothing to him so...what else could it be, right? Oh, right - that's here.

And, for Fuuma and Kamui. Really, there isn't much to say. Anyone who has read X/1999 can spot it in a flash, right? Totally obvious!

For KuroFai, there's a lot. I already posted the video, right? Right. Also, quite honestly, someone who so willingly cuts off own arm to save you not long after you tried to kill him must really care, right? Plus, what Tomoyo tells Kurogane what to do "if he wishes from the bottom of his heart". So, point in case.

Doumeki and Watanuki... Well, for this one, you have to squint and tilt your head to the side a little bit. I really love this scene here, though. It's just so...uber lovely, isn't it? Doumeki's not exactly an expressive person but the few chapters following the events in chapter 70 are pretty nice. Watanuki cried. :(

Haha! Rikuou's little comment here really amused me! Seriously, RikuouxKazahaya all the way!!

As for Saiga and Kakkei, well...really...does this count...? Ahem.

I doubt I need to put anything for the rest of them, really.

Um...yeah. :) This is all for my strange amusement. It's not saying that these pairings are canon or anything, but we can't really be sure about Seishirou and Subaru because they seem canon enough. It's just saying why people support these pairings! (Myself included)

Oh, and, really, it's to amuse myself.

I had fun doing this.

I guess that's all for now.

Until next time, my little lovelies.

Seiyuus (Voice Actors/Actresses)

Haha! I'm back with another post! I'm finally getting this whole concept of blogging...in a sense, anyway.

I'm continually amazed by Namikawa Daisuke-san's vocal range! (He plays Ulquiorra Schiffer in Bleach, Fai D. Fluorite in Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, and Italy in Access Power Hetalia.) If you've heard even some of the parts he's played, you'd be amazed!

Especially if you've heard both Fai and Ulquiorra! It's amazingly different!

Fai: All flighty and happy yet still secretive
Ulquiorra: Low and depressing (in a good way, of course)

Here's a video to...demonstrate?

And, as far as seiyuus (voice actors/actresses) go, I really like Yusa Koji-san. He plays Ichimaru Gin in Bleach. His voice is really lovely.

Hyouri sung by Yusa Koji (As Ichimaru Gin from Bleach):

I really like this song. :) The whistling is cute, too.

Smile sung by Namikawa Daisuke (As Fai D. Fluorite from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE):

Anyway...I don't really have much more to say.

Listen to the songs! You'll enjoy them!!

AlliE out.

Until another time, little butterflies.

Double Digits of DOOOOM!!

Wow! Mon Espoir's hit double digits?! WHAT?!

Haha! I was uber excited about that! Yes, I did most certainly squee upon realizing that. That, believe it or not, is a major accomplishment for me. Oh gosh, I'm lame, aren't I? I write ten chapters and I go "OH MY GOSH! I ACTUALLY MADE IT THAT FAR!!" But, seriously, I'm a majooooooor procrastinator, as you all know well. So...yeah. That's to be expected, no? I'm kin'a-ish proud of myself for actually being able to get this done!

This is my first, I suppose, non-purposeful post here. Huh. Interesting.

Um...anyway, I found a very nice GrimmUlqui AMV. It looked cool so uh...I guess I'm proving to the world that there actually are fans of GrimmUlqui who make AMVs? Yes, yes there are. Oh, Mel made one, too! It's one her blog. :)

The song was super appropriate for all the nasty sex moments and whatnot so commonly found in GrimmUlqui fics. I don't know, not quite the words but more the tune, I suppose.

COFFrapeficsCOFF

What? Did I say something? Who, me? Oh and, yes, I did use the "s" word! Haha! Fear me!

Oh, and the video was spiffy. So, yeah...I guess I'll put the HTML stuffles here, then.

That's all for now.

Ciao, sweethearts. ♥

RAINCHILD - Toning Tutorial/Random Page

.: RAINCHILD :.

Materials:
  • Pre-drawn, already lined (preferably in black) comic page
  • A program to use (i.e. Photoshop, GIMP - GIMP can be downloaded legally for FREE. Just Google it.)
  • A tablet or a mouse (It's harder with a mouse, mind you)
  • Hand-eye coordination (It's even harder without this)
  • Ability to read English (I'm pretty sure that, if you got this far, you can read English)
Let's get started!

Step 1:
  1. Let's get started by scanning your picture - MAKE SURE YOUR WORDS ARE INTACT

Step 2:

Clean up your picture!
  1. Increase the contrast and decrease the brightness until you get the desired effect - You can get to this tool on GIMP by clicking on the tab in the top left titled "Colors" and then clicking on "Brightness-Contrast Tool" to get to the scale that will appear
  2. Take the eraser tool to the picture and erase the unwanted bits - including the words
Remember: Colors>Brightness/Contrast Tool

Step 3:

Add the tones, now!
  1. Create a new layer
  2. Draw a line in black on that layer
  3. Adjust the opacity for that layer until you get the desire shade of grey
  4. Create a new layer for each shade of grey you plan on using
Remember: Dialogs>Layers (Or press Ctrl+L)
  1. Select the area that you want to fill in using the Free Select Tool or the Fuzzy Select Tool (The magic wand, on Photoshop)
  2. Fill in the area using the Bucket Fill Tool in black on your new layer
OR
  1. Colour in the area you wish to add a tone to in black using the Brush Tool on the new layer

Step 4:

Now, add the words!

Use: Text Tool (GIMP) to fill in the words

If you do not know how to use the text tool, use MS Paint.

Fonts can be found at dafont.

That's all for now! Thank you for reading!

Allie out. :)

Race to 100K!!

I just realized how much that sounds like "Race to Witch Mountain"! Oh my gosh, I'm such a dork!! Haha!

Anyway, that aside, this is our race to 100k! By "our", I am referring to Mel (Dior Crystal) and I!

It started because, well, quite frankly, it's disappointing that there are no fics for GrimmUlqui that are over 100K! We had a great big "WHAT?!" moment!!

So, we're going to both try to write fics that will be over 100,000 words! Isn't that exciting? It sure is for me. I adore reading long, good, multi-chapter fanfics. So, here we go!

On your marks!

Get set!

WRITE!!
